Kim Jong-Un, the youngest son of Kim Jong-Il, has recently taken over the Secret Police of North Korea. His father made an announcement to the Agency, saying, "You should treat comrade Kim Jong-Un as agency chief. Protect comrade Kim Jong-Un with your lives as you did to me in the past." on a trip to the headquarters in Pyongyang.

Opinion 1: It's not much a surprise that KJU is taking over the DPRK; KJI isn't going to live forever. If there's a good time to take over a depressing totalitarian regime, it's when the leader is still alive to bestow power upon you; then again, KJI might already be dead, for all we know. Of course the "Supreme Commander" would have "disappeared" for a few months- they might have been finding a lookalike and training him to act exactly like Kim Jong-Il. It wouldn't bode well for the North Korean people's morale- no, wait. They all hate him anyway. I mean, it would be beneficial for the government for him to "live on".

Of course, there's also the option that Kim Jong-Il decided to give his son a great birthday present- not that we know that it was his birthday, of course. Information like that dosen't come just quite truthfully out of North Korea.

Opinion 2: ^ are conspiracy theories. Such accusations are baseless and an attempt to slander the Democratic People's Republic of Ko-everuii7i7g8rgfyei3ihdiu-sorry about that. Sneaky spy got on my computer while I was away.

In any case, there won't be any difference to the world based on this. It'll just be another soulless dictator. Unless, of course, KJU managed to escape the brainwashing and decided, "My dad sucks at ruling. When I grow up and take over, I'll let my people say whatever they want and go wherever they please! I'll even listen to what they have to say to me! Hooray! I'll also accept other countries' aid, not be a stuck up pig like my dad and let my people starve in agony and clutter the streets with their rotting corpses! I'll also let more people in to the country and release the rest of the Japanese prisoners which my bad dad kidnapped and left to rot! Yay! Splendorous! Delightful! Non-excruciating!"

Then it would be different. A lot different.

News Opinion II: The Make-uping

1. The European Union has lately decided to start a conference in Stockholm to coordinate aid to Iran's wounded protesters. The ministers of Italy, France and Finland called for a common EU response for people seeking assistance in the violent aftermath of Iran's June 12 election in which hardline President Mahmoud Amadinejad was declared the landslide winner over his nearest rival, the moderate Mir Hossein Mousavi. Thirteen people died and more than 400 were wounded in the ensuing riots.

Opinion 1: Why do they need a conference to settle this? It's just a bunch of wounded people looking for help and opposition leaders looking to not getting killed. It's not exactly rocket science, nor is it quantum physics, that the EU should just give asylum to those that request it. "Knock, knock, who's there?" "Common sense!" "Common sense who?" "You should know me already, stupid!"

Opinion 2: Why do the Mahmoud supporters need to patrol the streets, anyway? Don't they have better things to do than pick fights with protesters. Don't they? Don't they!?!?!? In any case, the whole thing will be over within a year, unless someone decides to keep the fury rising. And who would do that?

Oh, wait, this is Iran. It's like the Atlantic Ocean of patriotism. My bad.

2. Over one million iPhone 3G S models have been sold through Sunday and six million customers have downloaded the new iPhone 3.0 software in the first five days since its release, says Steve Jobs, along with the statement that "Consumers are voting, and the iPhone is winning.

Opinion 1: Of course the iPhone 3G S is winning. It's priced ridiculously low. With those prices, no one can compete. Of course, it's low low price means that Apple will be sacrificing profits for market share, but they're still making a tidy sum, owing to the fact that the iPhone takes only a few dollars to make.

Opinon 2: But then again, the iPhone cost huge amounts of money to develop, so if they didn't sell that many, the iPhone 3G S would have been a complete and utter failure. A big risk, they took. A big risk.

Opinion 3: And then again, it didn't cost that much to improve. It's nearly the same, except for those tiny adjustments like improved fibre-optics, higher CPU speeds, ecetera.
